Just went on a book borrowing spree. Now the quota's 8 books or something cos it's the holidays and all. cheers:D Not that I actually notice a difference, though, since I hardly ever borrow books from nlb.
I somehow don't manage to get over the fact on how people can blog these really really long blog posts about their past week in such detail, right down to when they reached school what happened during english, cca, everything. My memory's sort of like "ah today. school. guides. i want to sleep now." And sometimes I can't even remember what on earth happened yesterday. Not that I care what happens on Mars. haha okay nevermind:D
I get very irritated when I see a huge chunk of words in front of me without paragraphs. My eyeballs go wonky, pop out of their sockets and roll under the cupboard.
I shall work my memory now and try my best to remember what happened today. Guides was in the morning, but I was lateD: Did some uniform stuff, blablabla. Ah yes we did ceremonies. Very fun! Okay now I get why Guides don't march that much when other ccas are around. yeah.
Went to the library later. yeah.
My memory rocks, huh.

#13 FRUITLESS ATTEMPTS

School computers deny you access of blogs, but weirdly enough, they allow blogger. Kinda weird huh. In order to make up for the long long period of time where I didn't blog, I shall blog excessively now!
So excessively I have no idea what to blog about.
Ahh we are ONE day away from Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day! whee. But I bet the queues will be really long, cos please, this is SINGAPORE we're talking about. And Singapore isn't very populated with B&J outlets either, so.
You know I never knew about this Free Cone Day before this year. I don't really eat Ben&Jerry's. But it's quite nice isn't it? Can't really remember.
I ought to visit the class blog. anyway.
oh dear I SERIOUSLY have no idea what to blog about. oh you know this keyboard i'm using? It's cute in a weird way. Like to un-caps it, you press SHIFT! haha. okay nevermind. It's been a really long time since I saw those pipe screensaver stuff.
look. I have no idea what to blog about.
probably the reason i've been repeating myself-.-
Oh yes, Cheryl's Birthday is coming soon! Another way of saying WHOO THE EXAMS GOING TO BE OVER SOON. which isn't true since it hasn't even started yet. It's quite good to have your birthday on the last day of the exams, unless the last paper is chinese or something. Cos then you'll be let off early and can go celebrate, not just the end of the exams but your birthday too! Like how my brother is going to watch an NC16 show on the last day of his exams, which luckily happens to be his birthday too.
Eda's being weird and spinning around on her chair. x)
I love exam period, cos you're so free in the afternoons; CCA put on hold, excused from third lang. So you're free everyday, unless you happen to have some piano lesson or something.
this blog post is going nowhere.

#9 GUIDES CAMP 2008<3
Monday, March 10, 2008
Since I just came back from camp about five hours or so ago, I hope I still remember what happened. Anyway, so on the 7th, the day before the camp, I chiong-ed like mad to pack my bag. ended up carrying this nice grey/pink converse sports bag that belonged to my sister (which I admit was super useless cos it carried nothing but two sets of clothes-my backpack was way bigger: it carried everything else), and my backpack which is actually my school bag extended. you know, with that zippy thing. oh and i carried this red colour paper bag and i stuck my annoyingly huge sleeping back on top of the ultra-tiny sports bag by holding it in place with a hair tie! (normally I say rubberband but I don't want to get mixed up)in the end I sort of regret it cos when we were having this thing and had to get my scarf, which was inside the bag, I took super long to take it out. Cos i took a really long time trying to undo the know of the hair tie. i hate knots. so five ten minutes into the knot battling I realised I could just pull the sleeping bag out and ta-da.
okay, so!!! yup so on the 8th, Saturday, the first day of the three day two night camp and went to camp! obvious yeah. so I reached there and they had colours-raising the world flag. the flag post was so nice. like this huge branch stuck and tied onto the ground. and the string was just like white thread, just thicker. so pro right! so we stood at attention and since the flag wasn't already attached to the pole, we had to wait for the guide who was in charge of raising the flag to tie it to the string and everything. and midway my leg got SUPER ITCHY. and we were at attention so I couldn't just fall out and scratch my leg could I? So I was like shuffling shuffling hoping that no one would notice. then finally they said guides fall out! wheeeee. ooh did i mention the my patrol had an average of 3 members throughout the camp? actually average of 3.5. anyway.
well one of the days, either first or second, was like station games. then only me and lathiga was there cos i forgot where laura and amandat went. okay so we were like two people and most of the games required, well MORE than two people. so it was like -.-
ooh yes for lunch on the first day we had catered, packeted spaghetti! It was quite nice only the sauce was a little diluted but it was yummy all the same. The schedule for the first day was like do something, snack, do something else, lunch, do some other thing, dinner, then night surprise (i think), then supper! haha eat so much right!
then was outdoor cooking. I did the cutting while lathiga and laura did the fire starting. haha that sounds like they were going to burn up the place or something. actually our meal plan went along the lines of: chicken, fish(?), mushroom, vegetable, fishballs (all five of those were supplied), spaghetti (with prego sauce), chocolate (melted into fondue), marshmallows, campbell mushroom soup and oranges for dessert. but due to lack of time, energy, manpower and appetite our meal was: spaghetti with prego sauce (which i must say tasted much better than the catered one, however nice it was), fishballs, mushroom and vegetable. weird combo, but we were hungry people. we ignored the chicken and maybe the fish, if they supplied it in the first place which was what i forgot.
my sentences are getting long and if they make any sense to you, which i seriously hope so, even though I don't think so cos i'm just typing whatever comes to my head, then good.
oh we did knotting somewhere on that day. i like the cross thingy when you join two poles together. forgot what that was called. i like knots(:
hmm. what was after that. no idea.
oh yes did I mention that the people around me didn't get much sleep cos i was feeling hyper and whispered really loudly. maybe that's why laura left for malaysia and jocie went to sleep with her patrol):
anyway. I WANT TO WATCH PS I LOVE YOU AND STEP UP TWOOO
okay so the next day. what happened the next day. my memory isn't very good. next day!
the next day we did nothing but clean up stuff. the sec ones had to clean toilet! red cross so poor thing. their camp started on the last day of ours (today). So while we were just standing around the canteen dunno doing what we saw them marching. like SCARY can.
and during the toilet cleaning session we were slacking and standing outside the toilet then we saw the red cross running round the track. and they were shouting R-E-D-C-R-O-S-S! I seriously won't be surprised if they started doing cartwheels over sick patients next.
