Significant things today!

1. O's. As much as I'm insanely happy that I'm free for the rest of the holidays I still have this very mixed-feeling-ish feeling about it all ): I walked out of the exam hall hoping to pass knowing a shitload of chengyu, my vocabulary wider than it's ever been, but I still speak like an awkward chindian and my intonation's all screwy and I still don't dare to order food in Chinese after thirteen years of learning it.

Blame it on the education system but I think it's my fault too. Aiya.

2. Received death sentence. Elaboration via other mediums if you get what I mean LOL.

3. Submitted my subject combi - BCMG. At the very last moment I was thinking, oh shit, maybe I should take BCME, maybe I should appeal for an addition H1 Geog, that'll still fulfill everything I set out to do - take the CM for practicality, B for practicality & interest, and the G for personal reasons.

But somehow in a weird, screwed up way, BCMG is some odd method of proving to myself that 1) I dare to be different, 2) I dare to follow my dreams/ pursue my passion/ every other so-called inspirational quote they throw at you with no further guidelines whatsoever, 3) I will not fail because I choose not to be "practical".

The personal reasons go on top, but these are very, very firm constituting reasons.

It's okay.

I am the 1%. I stand with the 99%.
