Haven't been posting recently! (I think my version of recently is very different from yours hahaha)
Friday was SLI and Founder's Day Rehearsal! GOH was pretty okay, the downstairs level banged at the same time, but timing for upstairs and downstairs was different so /: And the GOH was a good walker! :D
Sat with Jocie Amelia WeiYi after that, cheered overly loudly and inappropriately (considering we were three brightish blue specks in the middle of nowhere) but whatever hahaha. Performances were okay, PB best I think (yes hanjun you love me a lot). And we ate VIP food LOL.
Founder's Day Rehearsal after that, so-so, still can't remember my steps! /: need to practiseeee.
Doobie the Ditcher fell asleep and didn't meet me, so I went out with Amelia instead! ♥
Saturday was Cheer Practice and Recruit Uniform Shopping! Need to practise that dance more, too /:
Uniform Shopping went pretty well, though at the end it got really confusing (but buying uniform in bulk is really one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities HAHA) and our feet ached like crazy and my dad gave me a looong lecture on how we should just get the recruits to bring home their own uniforms etcetc but it felt so rewarding/fulfilling carrying home all that stuff and thinking "this is what I slogged over" (And I think the tables are getting to my head I was talking to Amelia last night half asleep and then sometimes when you're asleep you imagine pictures, like they just flash into your mind (okay maybe you don't but pretend you do) and I saw a table, not a table table but like A CHART, EXCEL TABLE THING I think it was reminding me that I still have some table editting to do and should not be watching a 1 hour 20 minute long Google Wave video. 50 more minutes!
I love firelighting! There's something very satisfying with knowing how to control the situation and know when to put what what to do when and saving it before it dies! We are going to pass this fast yes we are. (though I need to learn how to aim)
I love love love milk tea outings! Rae-ann is so amusing hahaha I'm going to learn to have a monotone low scary voice when I insult people.

Today, I took a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. I was thinking back to how long ago it would've been and came to the conclusion that I probably became pregnant on the night of my husband & I's anniversary. We had made spaghetti that night. The brand of sauce we used was Prego. MLIA.

Okay, I feel really bad right now, I admit I'm very guilty of not donating to streetside beggars because - well the story's kinda stupid now, but it really made a big impact on me. There was this guy on a wheelchair, he only had one leg, the other was amputated, and he used to wait outside Bugis MRT selling tissue and my sister, her friend and I would always donate a few dollars and not take any tissue because we could tell he really needed it. But then a few weeks later we went back and were going to donate again but hooked onto the handle of his wheelchair was a plastic bag was two boxes of cigarettes and that one incident really lost my trust in them - I've always hated smoking and I really couldn't accept the fact that the money we donated for him to support himself was spent on killing himself, bit by bit. But one person can't represent them all, /:

Spent the entire morning till noon pigging out (seriously), lunch was like one hour after breakfast and consisted of Jerry's most delicious buffalo wings, chicken, pork ribs (see, pigging) and steak and I'm not going within a metre of the weighing scale until I get back to school food.
Still haven't started on homework urgh D< going to die tmr i swear, any hope of going out is gone.
Can't wait for wednesday! and hope thursday will be fine, three people prac is v boring.
Don't know if I blogged about the first time I went house-hunting for Guides memories, but I did it again today and I love the feeling whenever I find that one thing I completely forgot I had, that one thing that would mean nothing to someone else but yet so much to me. Found the zebra pen Laura (Gan) gave me on my second session in Guides, found the first receipt of purchases I made as a QM, found a draft of an enrollment letter, found a CCAO poster I kept instead of threw.
My gigantic IKEA cardboard box is still quite empty because even though reasonably there's quite a lot, everything's so small/thin, but it's nice to know that even after all that, there's still a lot more to come :D
It's only the first day of CNY and I've already put on weight! D: This is so depressing. I'm going to stop eating the goodies, and then there will be leftover for the recruits when they go shopping! (and then maybe I'll lose a kg or so HAHAHA always an ulterior motive :D)
I love holidays, just woke up (three hours ago - have been trying to log in to blogger with a lousy internet connection since then) from a four hour nap and have never felt so refreshed. Desperate to go back to sleep after a very delicious dinner but my dad hasn't asked us to go up yet (as he bugs us every single night at like, 8.30 and tells us it's Really Late) so I assume tonight's the night of staying up late to prolong lives so I'm entertaining myself by reading award-winning blogs. And this is the very essence of Singapore life, it's hard to believe that after nearly fifteen years (and my whole life) in Singapore I still don't recognise the hardships of everyone here, and I'm starting to understand why WeiYi didn't want to apply for OSL - there's so much (albeit less) needed help here but I would never regret applying for OSL regardless of the result because it's something I really really really want (I've been trying to cut down that enthusiasm a bit in case history repeats itself but you know what I'm just going to enjoy the wait and deal with the consequence) and... in essence it's all about helping people, whether Singaporeans or Cambodians, it's like.. diffusion of luck and life and happiness from us to them (:
And eating the reunion dinner made me realise how much I feel connected to the Chinese culture (don't laugh you chindian racists!), and I found myself thinking about how exactly when I study and possibly work overseas I will make sure my family will celebrate chinese new year with leek, fish, chicken, abalone etc etc!
And as we celebrate/sleep our way through the festive period, let's not forget Haiti.

Valentine's Day today was brilliant, I love shows where everything interconnects and somehow all around it's filled with people going through the same emotions with different faces, it's so sad and so heartwarming and fuzzy :D
